Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your Tradelynx account and the personal data associated with it at any time: from your account, in the LabourLynx app, or by email.
From your account (fastest)
- Sign in to Tradelynx (app or web).
- Go to Account.
- Choose Delete my account & data. This files your deletion request directly with us.
In the LabourLynx app
- Sign in to the LabourLynx app.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
This deletes your worker profile, the days you said you were available, the shifts you were put forward for, any apprenticeship nominations, and your CV and photo, straight away. If you also use Tradelynx as a tradesperson, a customer or part of a business workspace, that account stays and only your LabourLynx details are deleted.
By email
Email privacy@tradelynx.co.uk from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm your identity so nobody else can delete your data.
You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account (for example your review-rating data or waitlist details) using the same email route.
What happens next
- We act on deletion requests within one month, as UK GDPR requires.
- Your account and the personal data associated with it are deleted. A small number of records are kept where the law requires it (for example fraud prevention and financial records); the privacy notice and data retention policy set out exactly what and for how long.
- Deletion is permanent. If you return later, you start with a fresh account.
