The worst reason to decline a job is that the phone would not stop. Tradelynx gives you three ways to pause offers, sized to three kinds of interruption.
Away until
A week off, a fortnight on one big site. Set an away date on your dashboard and job offers stop until then. When the date passes they start again on their own. You do not need to remember to switch anything back on.
A day off
Mark a day off in your calendar and offers stop for that day. The day after, they resume. It is the small version of away until, for the dentist and the school play.
Busy on a job
The morning job is still going at two o'clock. Tap on a job and your phone line pauses for two hours, no form, no reason asked. Web enquiries still reach you. Use unavailable if you want job offers paused too.
Unavailable
For a stretch with no fixed end, set yourself unavailable: eight hours by default, or until a time you choose. Nothing new is offered to you in the meantime.
Why these exist
One job goes to one tradesperson at a time. If you are offered a job and do not answer, you get two reminders, and after five hours it moves on to the next person. The pause controls exist so that an offer only reaches you when you can look at it. Routing is fairer for you and faster for the customer.
All four are in your trader portal today.
