A tradesperson with fifteen years of happy customers should not start here with a profile that says no reviews yet. Two things on Tradelynx deal with that honestly.
Historic review invites
Log a job you did before you joined, with the customer's details, and we send that customer one invitation to review you. It is sent on your behalf and names you as the source, so nobody is surprised by an email from a platform they have never heard of.
The review they leave shows on your profile as a separate, labelled tier. A reader can tell which reviews came from completed Tradelynx jobs and which came from before.
External ratings
Ratings you already hold on other platforms can appear on your profile once a person has checked them. They are shown as their own tier.
What neither does
Neither historic reviews nor external ratings affect how jobs are routed to you. Only ratings from completed Tradelynx jobs do that. Routing aims at who has waited longest, who covers the area and who fits the job, and the history of it is visible to you lead by lead.
Why the tiers are labelled
A review from a verified, completed job on the platform is evidence of a different weight from one we could not verify ourselves. Mixing them would make the profile look better and mean less. Labelling them keeps the number honest, which is what a customer reading it needs.
Both are in your dashboard today.
