Last month the web version of the trader job screen gained a small card: what did you install? Make, model, the date it went in, the warranty the manufacturer gave it. Your own words, about your own work.
It has now reached the trader app, because that is where most of you actually are when a job finishes. Same card, same fields, same two minutes, on the phone in your hand while the van is still outside.
What it does for you is quiet and durable. The property's record shows the boiler with your name against it. When the annual service comes due, the owner's reminder says it is due because of the work you did, on the date you did it. Nobody else can claim your installation, and the platform never fills that card in on your behalf.
Every capability we add to the web app gets asked the same question: does a tradesperson need this on the phone? For this one the answer was obvious, and the only reason it waited was a build slot. It ships with the next app release, and the web card keeps working exactly as it did.
