The pricing page for tradespeople exists to answer one question before you sign up: what will this cost me. The rule it is written under is that nothing on it is a future price. If a figure is there, it is the figure today.
What it says
£0 to join. £0 a month. £0 per lead. A published commission rate of 0% on jobs. When a customer pays you for a completed job, the money is yours.
If the customer pays by card through the platform, the processor's charge is passed through at cost: 1.5% plus 25p. It is the processor's charge, not ours. A tradesperson who bills directly pays nothing at all.
What it does not say
It does not say "free for now" and leave you to find the asterisk. It does not say "introductory". Where there is a paid product, Tradelynx Books at £15 a month including any VAT that applies, it is optional, it is named, and the page says we will tell you before we ever charge.
Why it is written this way
A pricing page that changes under you is a pricing page you cannot plan a business around. Every figure on ours is one you can check against the running system. If a figure ever changes, it changes on notice via that page, and your dashboard shows what applies to your account.
That is what published, not promised, means. Not a slogan. A rule the page is held to.
The full breakdown, line by line, is in what Tradelynx costs a trader, in full.
