What should a quote from a UK tradesperson include?

One guide per trade, each written for that trade rather than templated: what the quote should itemise, the registration that trade legally needs, and the thing that most often goes wrong. Where Tradelynx has nobody in that trade, the guide says so rather than implying otherwise.

Where we can and cannot help

We only route work in Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton, and only in the trades we have people for: right now that is builder, carpenter, electrician, handyman, landscaper and roofer / guttering. Everywhere else, and in every other trade, we are still building our supply and would rather say so than pretend.

Each guide says plainly whether we have anybody in that trade. Several say we do not. The HomeLynx Passport is free for every UK home either way.
