How LabourLynx works
LabourLynx introduces workers to traders who need additional hands on site. Tradelynx is not your employer.
The trader who engages you is responsible for confirming your eligibility for the work, including your right to work in the UK, your age, any role-specific qualifications, insurance, and any other legal requirement. They are also responsible for arranging payment and handling any employment or tax obligations.
By continuing, you confirm that you understand this and that you'll work directly with the trader to settle any employment or payment terms.
Practically, this means:
- When a trader engages you for a job, you’ll discuss day rate, hours, and start time directly with them.
- The trader is responsible for paying you. Tradelynx doesn’t handle worker payments.
- The trader will need to verify your right to work in the UK and confirm you have any qualifications they need. Bring relevant ID and certificates to your first day.
- If something goes wrong on site, the relationship is between you and the trader. Tradelynx provides the introduction but isn’t a party to your engagement.
- For your own protection: agree day rate and terms before you start. Keep a record of hours worked.
Eligibility
LabourLynx is currently 18+ only. New signups confirm their date of birth at registration, that date is stored privately and never shared with traders on your public profile.
