Everything Tradelynx does / Tenants and residents
What Tradelynx does for tenants and residents
Report a repair or hazard to the organisation that manages your home, and see what happens next.
A tenant reports a repair or a hazard to the organisation that manages their home from its own page, sees an urgent line to call, and can acknowledge a pre-job condition record. A damp, mould or emergency report opens a case on the statutory clock for the landlord or agent. It is free; a tenant never pays Tradelynx.

- Urgent help by phone. An urgent report shows the live line to call as well as opening the case.
All 3 capabilities
| Capability | What it does | Evidence | Cost | Where | What it does not do |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Report a repair or hazard | Report a repair or a hazard to the organisation that manages your home from its own page; a damp, mould or emergency report opens a case on the statutory clock. | User-entered | Free | Web | The case is the organisation's to work; the deadlines are computed for them, not promised to you by Tradelynx. |
| Urgent help by phone | An urgent report shows the live line to call as well as opening the case. | Platform-verified | Free | Web | Working hours and coverage apply. |
| Acknowledge a pre-job condition record | Before work starts in your home you can see and acknowledge the photographed condition record, so what was already there is on record. | Platform-verified | Free | Web | Items added after you acknowledged carry no acknowledgement. |
2. What it costs
Free. A tenant never pays Tradelynx.
Every price on this page is resolved from the one pricing source at the moment the page is served; a line charges only when it is priced, activated and above its data threshold, and until then it says so.
3. Where the data comes from
- Platform-verified (2 capabilities). Recorded by the platform as it happened: a job completed and confirmed through Tradelynx, a payment it processed, an identity or credential it checked, a consent it logged.
- User-entered (1 capability). Entered by the person it belongs to and shown as their declaration; graded Unconfirmed until evidenced, and excluded from third-party reports until then.
4. What it does not do
- A report opens a case for your landlord or agent; Tradelynx does not carry out repairs itself.
- A compliance status you see is the organisation's record as held, surfaced, not a guarantee of the property's condition.
- What you submit is your landlord's or agent's record; Tradelynx processes it on their instruction.
